Due to the present situation we are not homing at the minute

We will always take our animals back if you do not get on with them

It may take weeks, months or Years for an animal to settle down.

Same Daily Routine is the most helpful in settling down your new adoptee quickly.

Daily exercise is most important preferably at the same time and before feeding.

We will always be registered on the animals Microchip details

We have more animals for Adopting companion ponies, dogs, cats, rabbits

Older animals, staffies, rotties, greyhounds and black and white cats are really hard to home. Please give them a chance colour or type does not make them any less loving. Only the way the owner treats them.

Don't get a Shetland for a child's pony. They will not last long before the child grows out of them and the Shetlands can be stroppy, bite and kick. Best thing for Shetlands is a companion pony as they are very good doers. All the Equines have vaccination's and regular worming, dental and farrier checks.

Please remember we can only give you what information we have learned or know about the animals. Some maybe strays or the owners have passed away.

Horses Ponies For Homing

We dont have any riding ponies or horses in at the moment but please get in touch for company horses or ponies stating what type etc that you would like.

is an older pony who would make a good outdoor companion, bit of an attitude but she is a mare. She is around 10 hands high and dumpy with it. Sometimes she is awkward to be caught.

Truffle (Littleborough sanctuary)

15 + year old stroppy little 9hh mare. She is suitable for companion pony but no good for riding nor a child's pony. When dealing with the dentist she can rear up very high. You must have the experience for this little girl. When in a stable she will rear up on her hind legs to look over the door, strong stables is a must. She is a good doer.

Has a bad curve in her spine where the saddle would sit so she would be no good as a riding pony. She would be a companion only. She is about 12 hh and would need stabling and rugs and a stable in the winter due to being a finer breed.
